Who are ShellShock Designs?

ShellShock Designs Ltd produces one of the worlds largest ranges of opulent mother of pearl mosaic tiles, glass mosaic panels, glass mosaic collections, onyx mosaic tiles, translucent stone slabs, luminescent stone slabs, and encapsulated panels to create spectacular interiors.

Both beautiful and practical, these products are used in exclusive residences, hotels, restaurants, clubs and bars throughout the world.

ShellShock Designs Ltd sources the finest quality seashells from around the globe. We also farm our own freshwater mother of pearl on the banks of the Poyang Lake, China’s largest freshwater lake. From here our skilled team of artisan farmers cultivate the Mother of Pearl producing up to 75,000 sq metres per year.

ShellShock Designs Ltd are committed to a sustainable global environment, and we operate a supervised programme to replenish
the lake constantly to ensure the sustainable development of the shellfish.

Giving Back to Our Community

At ShellShock Designs, our charitable work is guided by a simple philosophy: We have a duty to do our part to make the world a better place. We use our technological, intellectual and financial resources to help support a number of local grass roots and community outreach projects.

Since establishing our Community Outreach program in 2009, we have committed to supporting organisations who work to benefit local communities in the United Kingdom. We work in partnership with our client and partner Red Hot World who provide work and career opportunities for hundreds of young people in the UK.

ShellShock Designs are delighted to be the main sponsors of Youth Soccer Team, West Gorton FC.

The team play in the Thaneside Amateur League in the north of England, and are located in one of the most under-privileged areas of the United Kingdom.

The team was established in 2006 as a Community Action Initiative.

We wish the players and their supporters the best of luck for 2012!


ShellShock Designs and the Environment

As well as sourcing the finest quality seashells from around the globe, we farm our own freshwater mother of pearl on the banks of the Poyang Lake, China's largest freshwater lake.

From here our skilled team of artisan farmers cultivate the Mother of Pearl producing up to 30,000 sq metres per year. We replenish the lake constantly to ensure the sustainable development of the shellfish.

We are actively looking at ways of reducing our carbon emissions.  To lead this work, we have  established an Environmental Task-force, which includes partners, directors and others from across the firm. We meet regularly to discuss how we can reduce our impact on the environment and optimise our ability to recycle and reuse waste.  The Task-force has a number of focus groups to address specific areas including recycling, travel, energy consumption and paper usage.

Every work group and department also has an eco-champion to help generate ideas and implement green initiatives across the business.
